Vintage Statue seemingly in Very Good Condition (i.e. Though NOT professionally graded). Purchased from local neighbor who owned a resale shop for many years and this piece was on display (not for sale) until the owner retired 3 years ago. He was not the first owner, but indicated this figure “Likely” predated the 1980s at a minimum, but I’m unable to find any makers mark or date anywhere on the piece to confirm that i formation. No paperwork or certificates accompany the piece. Details: Acrylic Art Deco-Style Female Figure in Flowing Gown/Dress. 25”H by 9 7/8” L by 4 7/8” W indicating Medium Size per Ebay sizing which is up to 35”H. No obvious chips or dents I have found with the exception of 1 POSSIBLE chip on the edge of her hair seen a quarter of the way down from her R-elbow to armpit. Her hair comes to an almost “L” shape and there might be a subtle chip (see picture #7). However, the region feels quite smooth upon light touch. The statue has a hazy translucence in the light with some areas of mild discoloration of either yellow or light brown, but mostly on the base/feet/legs of the figure, at least by my estimation. This may simply be due to aging of the piece, but it doesn’t seem to detract from the overall beauty of the piece. Further, you will find only a few areas of light dust or faint debris in the tiniest details of the dress or facial features (again see all pictures). I tried to give the item light dusting over the past few years but otherwise never cleaned it. I do NOT know if the owners had it cleaned in the past, by themselves or professionally. ******Look at ALL pictures as they are part of the description of the item and ask question prior to purchase!******* I’m going to offer this as a local pickup in the Chicagoland area. However, if you are extremely interested in the piece and wanted me to consider shipping, please message me via Ebay. It is approx 10lbs and I’d hate for it to be damaged in shipping.
