The bombs are detached freely, under the influence of external forces. The beam holder provides suspension, transportation and use of aerial bombs in a series with an interval of 0.1, 0.2, 0.45 s and blocking, which excludes the release of aerial bombs in a sequence not provided for by the holder unloading scheme. The base of the power circuit of the holder is a power beam (octagonal tube), on which four side and two lower prefabricated frames are fixed. They are also grips. D3-57DA cargo locks are fixed in prefabricated frames in special casings. The axles of the side frames are tilted at an angle of 40 degrees. The prefabricated frames of all left and right stations are fastened to the load beam with shoes. On the side prefabricated frames, two brackets with holes are installed, in which a bomb suspension device is fixed. The brackets are attached to the shoes with the same bolts as the prefabricated frame. The lower prefabricated frames are made in two parts. They are attached to the power beam using brackets. The front and rear legs, together with the stops, are connected to the load frame by axles and have the ability to rise and fall. Before the load is suspended on the lower station, the arms are manually lifted and held in the upper position by springs. After dropping the bomb from the lower station, the legs are lowered. This design provides safety when dropping bombs from side stations. The front and back of the beam is covered with fairings. Inside the front fairing, two mechanisms MPI-155 and MVN-66 are installed to control the head fuses of the first echelon bombs. A block of safety switches, an interval block BI-3M, and a control connector are also mounted there. On the beam with the help of brackets are fixed blocks “MPI-MVN”, which are designed to accommodate mechanisms MPI-155 and MVN-66, which control the cocking of the head and bottom fuses of aerial bombs. The holder uses ten MPI-MVN blocks. Blocks can be installed in one of three positions on special brackets. This allows bombs of various lengths to be used from the holder.
