I purchased this from Austin Bazaar in 2022. It was listed in Condition: Used – Like New Open box products are in “like new” condition and sell at a discount. They may have been returned by other customers, displayed in our store, or filmed in demonstration videos. All open box products have been inspected, are found to be fully functional, and include original packaging and/or manufacturer's warranty. I have turned it on 2 times total! The first time was to test the Octatrack and upgrade the OS software to Octatrack 1.40a The second time was to re-test for this auction. It has been stored in its original box one a shelf the rest of the time, unused. From a smoke-free home. This machine is a beast! I have not had the free time to use this. I am just trying to downsize gear and clear out space! I will be shipping insured / signature required through UPS. The box will be bubble-wrapped inside and outside of the factory box and packaged inside a shipping box (double-boxed) to make sure it arrives safe! Cosmetic updates aside, the Octatrack MkII remains an incredibly powerful platform for sampling and sequencing. It offers eight audio tracks, each capable of capturing or playing back stereo audio files, operating in one of several different modes, referred to as “Machines” inside the Octatrack. Audio files can be pitched up or down and time-stretched to your heart's content, or routed into other tracks for cascaded effects processing chains. If that wasn't enough, Octatrack has an additional eight tracks dedicated to MIDI sequencing, making it a capable centerpiece for any studio or live performance setup. Over ten years in with no sign of slowing down, the Octatrack still stands tall as the ultimate dynamic performance sampler outside of a computer.
